SCHOOL CLOSINGS Monday, Jan. 21 Martin Luther King Jr.

• NYS ELA testing for Gr. 3-5 will take place onTues. Jan. 8^th (gr. 3-5), Wed. Jan. 9^th (gr. 3-5), and Thurs. Jan. 10^th (gr. 4 only). It is extremely important that your child arrive to school on time on all testing days. If your child arrives late he/she will have to take the exam during the make-up period.
• We want to thank everyone who participated in the Food Drive. We were able to collect over 100 pounds of food which was delivered to

C.H.I.P.S. on Dec. 21^st. Thanks to the Student Council and the families of P.S. 39 for the wonderful job that they did working so hard for such a good cause.

We will be selling them the first Friday of every month –

including this Friday, Jan. 4^th. Short-sleeved T-shirts are $10,

long sleeved and ¾ sleeve are $15, and sweatshirts are $20.
