012709 PTA Meeting Rescheduled

Hi all,

The PTA meeting originally scheduled for Inauguration Day evening
has been RESCHEDULED for January 27th at 7:00pm.

The topic will be "Testing."
Anita will be speaking about the mandatory testing the kids go through from grade 3 upwards, what these tests mean, PS39's approach to preparing for the tests, etc.

We'll also have general PTA news, etc.
Babysitting will be provided.

See you on the 27th!

Once again the PTA has rented the Wollman Skating Rink located in Prospect Park , for PS 39 Families to enjoy exclusively.

When:

January 22, 2009 – from 7pm to 9:30pm

How much:

$6.00 per person, includes rentals. Food is available at extra cost. Lockers are free (bring your own lock)

Pay at the door but please confirm your attendance by filling out the form in your child’s folders and handing it in before the event.

We are so happy to offer this night of family skating again and are looking forward to a wonderful evening.

We need volunteers to run the tables.
