Our PS 39 families are invited to The Colonial Nutcracker at the Brooklyn Performing Arts Center - our annual holiday event on Sunday, December 11 at 2pm! All students will begin receiving weekly music instruction through our new partnership with Brooklyn School of Music. We are excited to welcome their teaching artists to our staff! Please visit our music page for more information about the grade level objectives for each grade.
Student report cards, narratives and assessment portfolios will be sent home on Tuesday, November 1. Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on November 2, 3 and 15 by appointment. Reminder: Thursday, November 3 is a half day with 11:40 am dismissal. More information, including online conference sign ups, is available on our FEATURE page.

The NYC Department of Education allows parents access to their child's attendance records, report card grades and NYS test scores online through the NYC Accounts. Please contact our Parent Coordinator, Karen Herskowitz for more information. Note: If you have created an account before May 2016, you must confirm your email address by September 30, if you have not already done so, in order to maintain uninterrupted access to your child's records.
