Camps Participating:

  • Zines After School

    Zines After School (ZAS) is an arts education program of Booklyn, Inc., for 2nd - 5th graders (ages 6-11) that will take place 3−5:30 pm at Old Stone House at JJ Byrne Playground in Park Slope, Brooklyn (NYC). ZAS teaches zine and bookmaking as a community-centered practice that builds social-emotional learning and teaches skill development to create self-determined storytelling.

  • Brooklyn Acting Lab

    BAL offers after-school theater, holiday break, and summer programming at three convenient Park Slope locations. We offer a diverse menu of theater classes for kids in elementary through high school. Our incredible team of artists is made up of professional actors, directors, designers, dancers, choreographers musicians, writers, and performing artists who are self-reflective highly trained educators.

  • Penguin Coding School

    Penguin Coding School offers a variety of in-person and online coding classes during the school year for ages 5-18 such as Scratch, Minecraft, Roblox, Python, and Lego Robotics. In the summertime, the school holds weekly summer programs where students get to make 3D prints, do fun and interactive science experiments, battle Lego robots, and learn how to code! They emphasize the importance of learning at a proper pace and being creative with code.

    After School classes (ages 6+), Days off School and summer camps (ages 8+) in Park Slope!

  • School of Wonder

    The School of Wonder creates immersive outdoor adventures in Prospect Park to foster curiosity, creativity, and wonder in 5-11 year olds. Our highly-rated after school, summer camps, and school holiday camps aim to teach children to be leaders in the regeneration of the planet while allowing them to build relationships and embark on real and imaginative journeys through nature-based play.

  • Mindful Sports

    We teach mindfulness and sports together! Mindful Sports multi-sports classes and camps can include traditional team sports and creative physical education games. Engaging creative play, athletics, and mindfulness training help children have fun, stay safe, and learn the foundation of valuable social and emotional skills.

  • Be You Dance Studio

    DANCE IN PROSPECT PARK is an outdoor summer camp for children three years old and up. The camp is located in Prospect Park Brooklyn. This camp is an opportunity to explore and learn the basic steps of different dance styles. Our goal is to develop a connection to dance, music, sports, and increase confidence in children.

  • Brooklyn Ninja Academy

    Brooklyn Ninja Academy teaches kids ages 6 through 13 years old the exciting sport of ninja warrior in semester-based progressive training. One hour lessons are taught by certified ninja coaches in our new, clean, and safe facility. Ninjas will learn techniques for conquering ninja warrior obstacles, and will gain strength, agility, and confidence as they improve their skills. Ages 13+ join our adult/teen training! Brooklyn Ninja Academy is the first and only dedicated ninja warrior obstacle training facility in Brooklyn. Trust us with your kids to learn ninja skills with safety and growth as top priorities.

  • Brooklyn Arts Exchange (BAX)

    Our camps draws from our year-round education programs to provide young artists with opportunities to explore different forms of performing and mixed media arts around a specific daily theme thoughtfully designed for active and fun engagement. Arts Specialists teach daily workshops, while a well-trained, creative staff supports a healthy balance of fun indoor (at the BAX Building in spacious studios) and outdoor play (at the nearby Old Stone House in Washington Park/JJ Byrne Playground), performance, and art-making activities.
